Russian talent Sergey Tkachev, does it again with his latest double track EP on Sedna Recordings. The Untold Story of Mountain Spring starts with chunky progressive bass leading into spiraling melodic riffs. Halfway through the jourey the sound drops to a refreshing haunting breakdown in which deep and dark sounds welded together into a perfect atmosphere and back into the groove. The V I F Remix gives things a touch of more trance while still containing the progressive magic with a lush breakdown. Some Facts About Thaw keeps the deep style, but brightens things up a touch with more upfront melodies and bouncy fx to keep anyone moving. Two tracks and a remix worthy to be on any progressive or trance jocks track list.
